When a man accomplishes so much, I believe he will amaze - not only us – but also himself at times. I think Jay Z has amazed himself a few times throughout his years in the spotlight. Coming from the streets of New York to talking business with one of the richest men in the world is quite an accomplishment. All you other rappers and so-called rappers should pay homage to the man paving a very successful path for the rap game. It’s a path most would never dare to travel down. I say this not because of the mean streets Jay grew up on, but simply because of the risks he took in business. Most people wouldn’t want to take on the responsibility that the big money brings, which is why there are less rich people than poor people in the world. I mean, how many rappers/rock stars own a chain of clubs? Well Jay Z owns the 40/40 Club which is located in New York, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Macau.

The earthquake just outside of Lawrenceville Illinois shook the big city some 900 miles away. I didn’t know what was going on, I was unsure if I was awake or dreaming. I live on the third floor of a three story building in downtown Chicago and it felt like I was in a sail boat the way the building was rocking. The quake was measured at 5.2 on the Richter scale and made its presents felt all the way down in Niceville Florida.
